At the centre of our store is the open and spacious workshop where you are welcome for maintenance and repairs. Our workshop in Amstelveen is open six days a week. In Abcoude and Weesp the Workshop is open five days a week.

Our workshop is at your disposal under the skilled leaderhip of Silvan Overtoom.
The Workshop, the place where it all happens, sits in the back of our stores, visible for everybody who happens to drop by Het Fietshuys. Here you will find our highly skilled and experienced bike mechanics, capable to service and repair all types of bicycles.
The workshop is spacious enough to do multiple repairs at once. There is also enough room to store the bikes inside while waiting for pick up or repair.
When booking an appointment for repair or service of your bike, we thoroughly go through all the issues you might have with your bicycle. We then give you an estimate on the necessary repairs and the corresponding cost.
When booking an appointment for repair we collect your mobile number in order to be able to give you an update on the status of the repair. If you so prefer we can contact you as well during the repair of your bike to give you a more exact update on the cost.

With our short lead times in the workshop your bike will usually be repaired and ready within 24 hours. Book your appointment online or contact us via telephone or email.
Het Fietshuys walks you through the repair beforehand and provides an update on the cost of repair as well as when your bike is ready for pick up.
To keep you on the move, we offer you a free bike on loan during the time that your bike is in for repair.
Did your bike suffer a breakdown? We help to get you on your way as soon as possible with our Service van. Pick up and Delivery service is available from Monday to Thursday.
Our workshop does Quality repairs with short lead times. We aim to have every bike scheduled, to be repaired within 24 hours. This is what we mean with Quick Fix of Het Fietshuys.
Sometimes a repair can take longer to finish, but normally we do manage to have your bike fixed within 24 hours. This does require to book and schedule the repair or service of your bike in order to keep a steady workflow. As a temporary solution, since you are without your beloved bike, you can borrow a bike from us, free of charge.
Whenever a repair is finished, the customer is updated via an automated text-message to their mobile number. The bike is now ready to be picked up from the workshop. The cost of repairs as well as an URL payment link are also included in the sms. Do you prefer to pay in person in our store? That is not a problem, of course. Service without any nasty surprises afterwards You are always welcome in our workshop for a repair, maintenance job or technical advice on your bike.
